Up early for a very long day’s drive, ending at another truck stop. Mosquitoes everywhere and generally not very nice. The scenery was a mix of open grassland with cows and pine plantations. Very little scrub or wasted space. It wasn’t till about 7.30 that we stopped and then I had to do the tent solo because J was on cook group. They did very well with a spag carbonara AND bruschetta AND chocolate pudding! Wow.
