Tuesday 1 May Last day in Barcelona
More of the same. Lots of research
and bookings. J got the blogs up. C went to buy a baguette and had trouble
locating the local supermarket. Couldn’t find anything . . . ooops they
celebrate May Day here. Had gazpacho soup (cold and garlic-riddled but tasty)
for lunch and a pleasant omelette for dinner. A bit of a walk in the afternoon.
We planned to go straight to Munich after Venice but small matter of the UEFA
cup final there (and No available accommodation) persuaded us to redirect our
plans to Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps. It is all settling into some sort of
order (fingers crossed).
