Fri 4th May Civitavecchia
Very comfortable nights sleep. Awoke to birds singing. Sang Happy Birthday to Jasmine via Skype, she
turned 4 a few days ago.
Walked the 5km
to Civitavecchia, the port of Rome, although Rome is about 90km away. Small town with some old city walls, a small
fort which had a tower built by Michelangelo and a couple of churches.

There are some archaeological digs close by
but you need a car to get to them and the same with the hyper thermal baths. (which are radioactive - no thanks) There are only 2 hyper thermals in the world apparently, here and in Japan.
All roads lead to Rome, but not for us today.
Hello Sailor!!!
Caught a bus back mid afternoon after an
argument with the driver, who insisted we were on the wrong bus. We said we
will just go for a ride anyway and tried not to smirk as we got off at our
stop. (Bus only goes past once every hour and we were not going to get off)
OK the end to misery – Robin Gibb
staged some sort of recovery 12 days ago. Kenny Everett lampooned the Bee Gees.
Oh what a night and Bye bye baby – both the 4 seasons. Love grows – Edison Lighthouse.
That’s the way – KC and the sunshine band.
