8/10 People's Park

Saturday 8 Oct
Caught a bus to People’s Park and wandered around. Some immensely ancient playground apparatus – roundabouts, roller coaster with a 4’ drop (aaaaaaaargh . . the RollerCoaster of Giiiggggles).  J rescued a Chinese lady whose power boat had run out of power.

Watched what was apparently a group of hairdressers doing military drill, some in high heeled sexyboots. It was mostly quite stern and they were being scored and a grizzled old warrior in Red Army outfit with medals was officiating. A local wandered up and did the typical Bali ‘GdayhowyagoinOKmaaaaaate’ impersonation and told us it was a motivational team-building day for them.

Walked back, popped in at Maccas for fillet o fish and chicken roll (with mucho pepper). Both Medium sized meals and cost $5 altogether. Spent a lot of time getting our tickets for Cunard cruises printed. Finally washed Those clothes we brought back from the mountains.
As well as people doing singing, dancing, playing music etc etc .. this man was doing water calligraphy.
