16 November at sea

Wednesday 16 November

Made it to stretch. We are now in Situation Red and the waiters are handing us trays, plates and food from behind the buffets. Wonder how many passengers are sick? We were planning to try the Asian dining experience tonight but it is a casualty of the plague conditions.
Flitting about in the cabin and happened to glance out the doors and see a snow capped mountain.  Ohhhh, excitement, where are we now?  Couple of photos and up to lunch where we shared a table with a lovely elderly American lady.  We eventually worked out that the Island was Crete.

We drank the prize from the music quiz this afternoon, then stayed with the Canadians for afternoon trivia, which we won. A good effort with all the major competitors present, although Laura threw in some weird tie break questions that favoured our Geordie team members. We helped spread sedition at the fake music quiz, came second in the “through the porthole” contest, and enjoyed the crew show again. Eddy sang Unchained Melody and brought the house to its feet. We scouted through the Cunard shop for some memorabilia to spend the cabin credit.
