Friday 18 November Dubrovnik
Gained an hour sleep overnight and woke to a special sunrise as we cruised into Dubrovnik. It really is very beautiful and sparkling clean. Increasingly conscious that this phase is unravelling. 2 more nights on board and we will be in Rio in a month. Just a short stroll in the old city. Internet and set up a skyp session on Saturday for J’s Mum’s birthday.
Lobster thermidor for dinner. Stewart had a gluten-free garlic sauce version. I mentioned that it looked good and Joachim wanted to get them to make me one. I settled for another thermidor but he insisted that he would have one made for me tomorrow. OK.
We were moored ahead of MSC Magnifica, which we will be going to Norway on in June. A very smart and new looking ship. As before, their decks and bridge were lined when we sailed away.
The Jenny Craig Rejects team seems to have dropped off the pace in trivia and we are frequently cleaning up.
